I grew up in the West Midlands and always dreamed that one day I would live by the sea. I thought that dream could wait until retirement. But two cancer diagnoses changed the way I looked at time and just how precious it really is. Suddenly, I no longer wanted to wait for “someday.”
In 2013, I moved to Skegness and, with courage and hope, began a new life by the coast. What happened next was something I could never have imagined back then.
