When I moved from Birmingham to Skegness in the early 2000s, it felt like a fresh start by the sea. But life didn’t unfold quite as I had imagined. Love, trust and relationships brought experiences that left their mark on me: hope, disappointment and loss.
Today, Skegness is my home, and I am learning to find peace in the little things. After everything that lies behind me, I still believe there is something good waiting for me somewhere ahead.
