At fifteen, my twin sister and I went into foster care. We were able to stay together and found people who gave us the stability and security we had needed. They had a caravan in Skegness, and it was there that some of my happiest teenage memories were made.
I had no idea then just how much those holidays would shape my future. At nineteen, I took the leap and moved to Skegness, while my sister stayed behind in Yorkshire.
