I moved around a lot as a child and spent a long time wondering where I really belonged. When I met my biological father at eighteen, my journey eventually brought me to Skegness.
Here, I found love, friendship and the sense of stability I had always longed for. Now I have a family of my own and we have put down our roots here together. With the sea on my doorstep, I finally feel that I have found my place.
I’m home, and I don’t want to be anywhere else.
