I grew up in Poland and came to England to earn money so I could continue my studies. It was only ever meant to be a short stay. Then I met Michael. He came from Skegness, a place I had never even heard of and certainly couldn’t have found on a map.
Just three months later, I took a leap into the unknown and moved there with him. It was a decision that would change my whole life in ways I could never have expected, and ultimately shape the person I became.
